Product Description:
Calcium hypochlorite is an inorganic compound including chlorine with the chemical formula Ca(ClO)2. It is often used in the bleaching process in chemical production. It plays an important role in industrial production because of its rapid onset and outstanding bleaching effect.
Because its main active ingredient, many people call it as bleaching powder, chlorine powder, HTH, or chlorinated lime. So it is used for water treatment, disinfectant and as a bleaching agent.This compound is relatively stable and has greater available chlorine than sodium hypochlorite (liquid bleach). It is a white solid, strongly smells of chlorine, owing to its slow decomposition in moist air.
